 đźŚ… A BRIEF MEDITATION

When we think of love, we often see ourselves as water, reflecting the light we receive from our surroundings.

"If only the sun would shine my way, I’d have enough light to share with the world and reflect my true nature."

Consider that you are the sun: the true source of light.

Feel a gentle warmth radiating from within, as if a soft sun is rising in your chest. As you radiate outward, the same intensity beams back, no matter where you direct it.

Your light is abundant, reaching beyond the visible landscape to nourish others and illuminate new paths. You have more than enough to share.

đź’— QUOTE OF THE WEEK

âťť

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Rumi

Rumi reminds us that we are the source of the love we seek in others.

It's the core of who we are. Yet over time, we lose touch with this truth.

We layer subconscious blocks separating us from our own love. Conditions that "must" be met to love ourselves and others.

“I'll be enough when I am in the best physical shape. I'll be enough when I finally reach that professional milestone. I'll be enough when I find a partner who loves me.”

Trying to meet these conditions for love isn't sustainable. Even if we fulfill them, the feeling fades, and new conditions take their place.

Our life's task is to recognize and dismantle these self-imposed barriers that block the flow of love. One by one.

By shedding these layers, we uncover the most powerful source of energy within us: love. In doing so, we nourish ourselves and elevate everyone around us.

🧠 MOMENTUM FEATURE OF THE WEEK

Self-love, as a skill, doesn't require much "doing."

It's almost all mindset. As Rumi so beautifully put it, it's about dissolving the beliefs that block you from receiving love.

Display words you'll see daily (hello, dashboard!) to reinforce your journey toward self-love:

  1. "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance." – Oscar Wilde

  2. "You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection." – Buddha

  3. "The greatest thing in the world is to know how to belong to oneself." — Michel de Montaigne

  4. "You have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens." — Louise L. Hay

  5. "Loving yourself isn’t vanity. It’s sanity." — Katrina Mayer

PLUS USER TIP: If you'd like more quotes from a specific perspective or spiritual tradition, just Ask AI: "What are some quotes that will help me experience more self-love from a [blank] perspective?"
